They say thrid times a charm
Not this time. Huh Don't know what happened but this is all I have to show for myself after 5hrs and three sites later. I thought the first site was going to be the mother load. HA. I still can't belive it even while I am doing this. Well I guess it happens..... It's not pretty but it is old ( I think) what do you think. It is 31/2" long , 1" high, 1" wide...

When I cleaned the dirt off-- the wheels fell off also. I don't know what they were made of but they just fell apart.. that is to bad , because other than that and the paint job, it is in pretty good shape. HH.

What do you mean, it's not pretty?
That is a great find - I wish you had put something in the picture for size reference. Judging from the looks - It would be 20s or 30s, for sure! I don't think it could be later that the 30's, because 40's toys were a little scarcer on metal (all going to the war effort).
Sorry there were not more finds for the day, as well - but I still think it is a great find!

Peggy

I think you are right. A person viewing it would not know how big the toy is. It is 3 1/2 " long , 1" high, 1" high. Thanks HH.
